THIS IS A LONG POST I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE
I’ve been in the K-pop space for around 2/3 years ish. I’ve been mostly following boys groups during that time and only slightly dipping into girl groups. However I wanted recommendation about vocally taken groups to look into, or Stan cause it seems vocals are being prioritized even less.
terms of recommendation I would like most of the group to be able to sing(or at least hold a note) or at worse have 1-2 super strong vocalist. (Example like monsta x aren’t the most well known for vocals since their rap line is amazing. But kihyun is an amazing 3rd gen vocalist and many of the members can sing pretty well) I’m not picky the group could be a boy or girl group.
The groups I Stan are (in no order and not all are vocal powerhouse)

-Tvxq (still getting into their discograph)
-Exo
-Btob
-Monsta x
– SuperM(Rip joppers)
-Nmix(Just started their discography like 2 days ago)
-Red velvet(Wendy need I say more?)
-Nct127 (I love DJJ)
-Wayv (Xiaojun!)
-NctDream (Chenle underrated)
-Nct U
-Xlov (Hyun sounds great)
-Zb1(Vocal peak of 5th gen)
-Aespa(Casual but trying to Stan)
-Ald1( Anxin and Leo are great i hope they get even better)
-Onepact(super Casual)
-Seventeen(One of the best bo groups)
-Keyvitup( There so nugu but so talented It hurts)
– Modyssey(Suren)
-And2ble( I miss ot9 but vocals are vocalin)
-Flare U (Woojin need I say more?)
Sorry for the long post. These are not all the groups I Stan just the ones off the top of my head I could list that I thought had 1 or more good vocalist. Many of these groups fall under SM for obvious reasons but I’ve been trying to branch out to other companies. Hybe groups I’m always 50/50 on due to them being more a performance focus label than producing vocally strong idols. The YG sound has never really been my thing but im open to suggestions. Jyp groups I still need to check out more from to get the full picture.
Groups I’ve tried listening to that aren’t my thing
-Le Saerafim (I like antifragile that’s about it)
– Ateez (I’ve Really,Really ,tried . It’s weird cause I like Monsta x music alot but Ateez music just isn’t for me. I still don’t understand since I love the billion Nct subunits too)
– Stray kids (I should like since the experimental sound they use is similar to Nct. Again for some reason my brain just isn’t vibing.)
Sorry if this was long but TLDR: I’m looking for new vocally strong groups to check out.

-Tws( Another good 5th gen boy group though I need to check them out a little more)
-Aespa(Casual though they sound amazing)
-Mamamoo( I FORGIT ABOUT THE GOAT 😭 I love them)
-I’ve heard whisper about older 2nd Groups like Vixx, F(x), Beast(idk names)
And some newer groups that I haven’t just gotten into (Ikon, XG, Close your eyes, treasure Xidinary heroes, (I don’t know how they spell it) etc. But I’m very glad of all the recommendations so far ❤️
