The Mama 2026 season has officially began with the nominations officially being announced on October 12. Wether you hate mama or love it, nobody can deny that it is the biggest kpop award show and generally the only one that most kpop fans care about. Now with the nominations being less then a few days away from being released aswell as the first line up of performers shortly after, it’s only natural for many fans to get excited and predict who will be nominated and attending this year. So I wanted to ask, who do you predict will be nominated in each category, who will be the 5 finalist for each Daesang, and who will be performing in this year’s ceremony.
Of course this post is only meant for fun, it’s basically impossible to guess to correctly specially the artists who are performing. Something that I also want to add, there has been a few times were mama either doesn’t nominate a group or song who are untop of predictions or pick a different song from the artist. A perfect example is Le Sserafim back in 2024, Perfect Night was untop of predictions for best female group dance performance and sing of the year yet they nominated Easy instead.
