This all came from Jay Park posting on twitter about an hour ago. The context behind all this is that he announced he’ll be continuing his world tour and bringing LNGSHOT along for the remaining dates.
A lot of the backlash seems to be coming from two different sides. Some people feel Jay should let LNGSHOT grow more independently instead of constantly attaching them to his own activities, whether that’s releasing music with them or bringing them on tour. There’s definitely a subset of LNGSHOT fans that aren’t happy because they feel Jay is too involved in the group’s career and isn’t giving them enough room to establish their own identity.
Meanwhile, a portion of Jay’s longtime fans aren’t thrilled about the decision because it likely means tickets will be harder to get and LNGSHOT will take up a significant part of the setlist when they’re primarily paying to see Jay perform.
