I went to the National Assembly yesterday to impeach Yoon Suk Yeol. I was going to write after yesterday, but I was so tired that I ate delicious food and slept. LOL There were so many people when I went to the assembly, but I managed to get to the front with a good view of the National Assembly where I sat last time. I wanted to see the moment when I saw the National Assembly with my own eyes. The ruling party boycotted the vote and the people put a lot of pressure on the ruling party over the past week. Every day, a large crowd went to a rally in front of the National Assembly and shouted impeachment, and in front of each office of a ruling party member, they shouted impeachment. Well, I’ve got an impeachment tour bus. LOL Anyway, all 300 people attended yesterday’s vote. At 4:35, National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik announced the results. It was approved by 204 votes. I still vividly remember the moment I got 204 votes. I was at the front of the crowd at the rally. I heard a shout I had never heard before behind my back. People in front of me also shouted. There were people who cried. I edited it to take a video of the moment of emotion and show it to Reddit, but it’s forbidden to post a video. I remember the joyous songs and countless balloons rising into the sky with the shouts of people right after the passing. G-Dragon’s song “Crooked” was really exciting. The result of the vote did not disappoint the hopes of many people gathered there. I heard congratulations from Lee Jae-myung and several other lawmakers on the stage. I was so happy. And K-pop songs came out and it was fun. I live in Seoul, but I lived in the end, so I had to take the bus 1 and change the subway 2 times to get home. LOL So I went home faster than everyone else. I don’t think I can go home if people flock to the subway. I was tired when I got home, so I ate and slept. Since the day martial law was declared, our people have not been able to sleep well at night due to worries. The majority, myself included. But last night, I was able to put down my worries and sleep well. Impeachment will be completely impeached only if the Constitutional Court still agrees, but the possibility of a rejection there converges to zero. To dismiss the president from the Constitutional Court, it is not just a violation of the law, but a serious violation of the law that prevents him from being president. The serious violation of the law is, 1. Unacceptable from the standpoint of protecting the Constitution, which is the duty of the President to retain his office 2. In case of betraying the trust of the people It stipulates that if it falls under either of these two, it is dismissed. The Yoon Suk Yeol violated both of these. In addition, the crime of rebellion is punished by the maximum death penalty or life imprisonment under the criminal law. Our people really want to be sentenced to death. Only when the death penalty is executed will the president not commit this in the future. We should use this as an example. The power of the people who helped the civil war should also be punished and dismantled. And the last thing I remember was thanking former President Roh Moo Hyun. On my way home, I saw a full moon and it reminded me of President Roh Moo Hyun. Looking at the moon after martial law was declared, I shamelessly begged the President of Roh Moo Hyun to help our country one more time. President Roh Moo Hyun loved the Korean people so much that he listened to my wishes again this time. submitted by /u/juseyeon |
