Young Korean women have the highest tertiary-education attainment among OECD countries

In 2023, 76.7% of Korean women aged 25–34 had completed tertiary education, ranking first out of 46 OECD and partner countries measured.

“Tertiary education” includes completed post-secondary credentials such as associate-type programs, bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, doctorates, and comparable vocational higher-education qualifications.
