Ok hear me out BM(Babymonster)- Has a more explosive effect, you hear it you cant unhear it. Its like your walking and theres suddenly an explosion and you run to see what it is but your glued to that spot, like when they run you feel like running too. They give Mafia, Girl Boss vibes and I feel like even with their softer tracks they still have that power that pulls you in and never lets you get out, and I absolutely love that concept. You could say it is a Teen Crush concept. Especially songs like their new Choom Era which I think is peak, though some may argue about the lyrics I actually like it. Its random in a good way, and it portrays really strong personality. Even in their songs like Stuck in the middle which is a softer track, I believe its like a cool breeze, but with explosive qualities. Their songs make you think, “what have I been missing out in life” and you start embracing the fireworks and chaos of human nature.
Blackpink- It has this cold powerful vibe, you know like “look at you now look at me”, which gives you chills. Like you are facing queens- even in some of their more emotional and playful tracks like lovesick girls, jump, stay, boombayah, ice cream it is a symbol that although they have that tense feel about them- even queens have their fun time. Its example of intimidate your enemies but laugh with your friends. Even in those songs you can still feel what they have established, like in jump- “im not that easy to tame”, “bet you get it now”, “are you not entertained” again shows of their power. Lovesick girls talks about their struggles and how they overcame it. I feel Blackpinks vibe is centered on your inner power, and how you can unleash it and hit people with that “DDU DU DDU DU”.
