i honestly respect and admire the girls going solo instead of venturing on as BLACKPINK at this stage. If you think about it, their popularity was skyrocketing before and after Pinkchella23, everyone is talking about them and all celebs wanna meet and take selfie with them, if they ride with the momentum and make a major comeback and touring after that, i think they could’ve be so much bigger. They must have got so many creative juice to do whatever they wanna pursue individually, and lucky to have reach this consensus together. Don’t get me wrong, they are super big, i’m happy they all make their names and distinct styles, just that i think the path as BLACKPINK would have been much smoother and have a bigger impact now.
Now you look at deadline, i love the album, but there’s literally no promotion, for the tour, for jump and for the album. They last public event was 8th anniversary, after buckingham palace, that makes 2 appearance in 3 years, they are clearly avoiding it.
i get they wanna build their own profiles, but if you still retain the name, did the tour and album, why can’t you do any OT4 events (i can’t believe they didn’t go to the National Museum listening party, even the president went) what are they thinking/ planning?
