What types of westernized Kpop promotions are effective?

I know many Kpop groups carry out different exclusive promotions for their western market, like LE SSERAFIM’s L.A. Listening Party (as far as I know they didn’t do one in Korea).

Recently, many groups have been targeting the west way more aggressively than before, trying to connect to the global fans.

What kind of characteristics do you think NA and LATAM share that are different from the Asian market? I feel like some promotions they do are not as effective in these markets as they are in Asia, so I want to know what the western Kpop fandom appreciates more.
