I’ve heard this cafe from my dad, and visited here last year. It is located in Chuncheon! This cafe has very unique history: After the Ethiopian soldiers fought in Korean war, the emperor of Ethiopia visitied the Ethiopian monument in 공지천(where the cafe is). And a korean couple opened the cafe there appreciating friendship and all. In return, the emperor started to ship and export Ethiopian coffee beans(it says castle grade idk) at the cafe. So the cafe became the first one to import Ethiopian coffee beans to Korea by Ethiopian emperor’s word. This coffee export continued very long time. Now the Cafe is still opened, still getting coffee beans directly from Ethiopia, their profit is utilized to help with Ethiopians, Korean war vets/family of vets in Ethiopia. Best Sidamo&yirgacheffe I’ve ever tasted, super nice interior design, awesome history. Really worth visiting. +) they also sell coffee beans! I bought 2 packs, wish I picked more.
