I found a gamjatang (Korean pork bone soup) place called “Tang Tang Gamjatang” near a military base in Gapyeong, and I honestly can’t tell if the name comes from the “bang bang” (탕탕) military vibe or just the word “tang” (soup)… but either way, this might be the best gamjatang in Korea. The broth is rich and spicy, the meat is all tender, and the whole place feels like a true local gem.
