Starship isn’t even trying with IVE anymore and is just milking them. Their concepts and comebacks keep dropping in quality. With every new comeback, there’s less creativity. I don’t even think they have a proper creative team. They have IVE posing in front of white walls and vans, and the concept photos don’t even properly capture the vibe of the songs. Revive+ wasn’t a bad album, but compared to their first albums, the quality drop is noticeable, and I’m saying this as a DIVE. Plus, the promo was in the gutter. Starship gave them only three days’ worth of music shows for “Blackhole,” then dragged them out to LA for promo months late and called it an era. IVE are the pillars of Starship and the reason Starship was able to fund a survival show and debut three new groups. I’ve been a stan for a year, yet IVE are the only group I don’t see getting their money’s worth. Besides the downgrade in concepts and music quality, IVE’s album designs are basic and lazy. Their current tour outfits are worse, too. They got rid of half the backup dancers and stage props and downgraded the stage production every leg of the tour to save money.
They released five Minive variants in one month, and IVE are still having fansigns for the Revive+ album six months later. They’re just milking every opportunity. Yet all IVE gets is lazy, uninspired BS from Starship. It’s genuinely pissing me off because where the fuck is IVE’s budget? Like, compare the Heya era to this one.
I can’t even be mad at dives for boycotting their next comeback. Anways this was such a long rant so yea. Although i can smell the hate comments Anways bye and have a great day
