Hello everyone! I’m hoping you might be able to help me reconnect with someone I met in Gyeongju in 2024. I’m posting this with the mod’s permission.
When: October 11th and 13th, 2024

Me: A foreign female tourist with a camera
He recommended a performance to me on October 11, and on October 13, he recognized me and greeted me first. I started chatting with him but forgot to ask for his KakaoTalk. Two years later, I still remember that lovely encounter and would love to reconnect, whatever the outcome is.
I decided to gather a little courage and share my story on Reddit. I know this is a long shot, but perhaps someone here knows him. After all, you only live once, right?
Even if you don’t know him, sharing this post with other people living in Gyeongju, Daegu, Pohang, Ulsan and nearby towns is highly appreciated! Recommendations for other relevant Korean communities would also be very welcome!

10월 11일에 그분이 저에게 공연 하나를 추천해 주셨고, 13일에는 저를 알아보시고 먼저 인사해 주셨어요. 그 후 제가 말을 걸어 잠시 이야기를 나눴지만, 그분의 카카오톡 연락처를 물어보는 걸 깜빡했어요. 2년이 지난 지금도 그 따뜻했던 만남이 기억에 남아 있고, 어떤 결과가 되든 다시 연락이 닿을 수 있다면 좋겠습니다.
조금 용기를 내어 레딧에 제 이야기를 올려 봅니다. 가능성이 낮다는 건 알지만, 혹시 이곳에 그분을 아는 분이 계실지도 모르니까요. 어차피 인생은 한 번뿐이잖아요, 그렇죠?
