Went to 청기와타운, a Korean BBQ franchise built around an “LA Koreatown” concept — not sure how close it actually is to real LA K-town spots, but the vibe is definitely going for it. The real highlight though: 무생채볶음밥. After the meat’s done, they fry rice right on the grill using the leftover fat, mixed with spicy-tangy radish kimchi. Comes out glossy and orange, topped with sesame and scallions. The tangy radish crunch cuts through the richness perfectly — way better than standard kimchi fried rice at other BBQ spots.
