Honestly, this has been on my mind for a while, but I never knew the best place to ask/talk about it. I am a Zb1 fan, and my bias is Hanbin, and since he got his MC, I’ve been following him. However, this is the first time a person I’ve stanned has been an MC. I just got struck by the amount of content they were pumping out about him and the other MCs, but I’m just going to focus on Hanbin specifically. Like so many TikToks, 4Cuts, Daechinso, the hour-long fancams, and also just general content they film with him + Sohee & Jaehyun. Then, on more Hanbin-specific things, the whole birthday thing they did for him was kind of insane. It made me wonder if they always go this far for their MC. Then they also celebrated his specific 100 days because he was an MC with Miyeon before the trio became a thing. Furthermore, idk if they did, but did mnet also celebrate Sohee & Jaehyun’s 100 days, or did they just do a 1-year special for the trio? Also, just in general, it feels as though other shows don’t release as much content with their MCs. So, I’m thinking it’s a mnet thing.
If anyone else has any insight on how Mnet dealt with past MCs, that would be cool. I posted this in help, but didn’t get a lot except for the fact that apparently daechinso didn’t exist until Jan. 2024, but I don’t know if that’s true. If it is, that’s so interesting.
