As much as I would like for this to end with them all happily as 6, I’ve long accepted that’s probably not going to happen, so for the love of god Hybe can you please just announce she’s out. This whole will they won’t they thing is just so exhausting, and it’s making everyone crazy. I don’t even blame the people going all detective and digging through Hybe’s finance reports and stuff, because I think at this point more than wanting her back everyone just wants closure at this point. The entire drama around Manon has been going on since literally pre-debut and I just can’t anymore. I don’t know what Hybe’s game is with the way they’ve tried to place her at odds with the rest of the group from the beginning with the doc and everything, and their stubborn refusal to just do the thing properly and either announce she’s staying or say she’s gone, but it’s not fair for literally anyone involved. I wish so badly she could come back, but more than that even at this point I just wish they’d put everyone out of their misery. I think everyone even her staunchest supporters have basically accepted at this point she’s not coming back, and this whole drawing it out thing is so pointless. It hurts the fandom unity and it doesn’t let the other members move on either. Are they just supposed to live out the rest of their contract with this shadow hanging over them? Free the members from this discourse and free Manon from her contract and free us from this hiatus purgatory.
