Hi-Fi Un!corn Signs with Sony Music, Launching Global Music Career

Hi-Fi Un!corn, a dynamic K-pop band, is poised to make a significant leap onto the global stage, having signed with Sony Music Labels.  This collaboration with Japan’s largest music label marks a pivotal moment for the rookie band, highlighting their potential to captivate audiences worldwide. Sony Music Labels, a powerhouse in the Asian music market, expressed excitement about the partnership, noting Hi-Fi Un!corn’s potential to create a new wave in the Japanese music scene.

Formed through the Korean-Japanese co-produced band audition show “THE IDOL BAND: BOY’S BATTLE” in 2023, Hi-Fi Un!corn consists of five members: Kim Hyun-yul, Son Ki-yoon, Um Tae-min, Fukushima Shuto, and Heo Min.

Son Ki-yoon is the band’s leader and bassist. Their name reflects their ambition to deliver high-quality music that resonates with the times. Hi-Fi Un!corn’s fandom is known as Rasido.

The band debuted on June 26, 2023, with their first single, “Over the Rainbow”.  On August 28, 2024, Hi-Fi Un!corn released their first album “Fantasia” in Japan, and tickets to all of their tour concerts in the nation were sold out. 

The band has actively toured and performed at major music festivals, including “Soundberry Festa’ 24,” “Grand Mint Festival 2024,” and “2024 Pepsi Festa”. They also showcased their talent at the “2024 FNC KINGDOM – SING SING SING” event in Chiba, Japan. 

Hi-Fi Un!corn is scheduled to perform at the “1st FNC Band Kingdom in Taoyuan” in Taiwan on January 4 and 5, demonstrating their commitment to expanding their reach. Industry insiders and fans eagerly anticipate the band’s future achievements as Hi-Fi Un!corn embarks on this exciting new chapter with Sony Music Labels
