I am sharing with you the data from Kosis. It is heights of young men entering military last year. Unlike average height data from majority of other countries, this is not self reported or only small sample. I wish people would stop talking about how “weirdly Koreans are getting taller and taller due to odd things they do” or something, as that is clearly not true and height is not changing in recent years. So here we go… Koreans simply got taller in several decades due to nutriton and living conditions, just like Japan (who did it earlier and have lower genetic height potential based on historical records) and China and Europe, just later (Dutch men had average height 5 ft 5 only 150 years ago), but somehow Korea is being singled out, ignoring they had almost nothing to eat for many years…. Seeing tall Asians is normal and no need to explain, just like average and literally short white and black men exist… obviously superiority complex clouds someones mind and lack of common sense. Not to mention, if there was someting that would actualy change height, USA would be the first to use that advantage with their 6 ft obession, lets be honest.
