Do people still want to debut in a K-pop group or Global group now?

Imma share my perspective, so kindly don’t attack me if you find this offensive to you; I also want to read your feedback regarding it too.

I’ve always wanted to become a K-pop idol since 2018 because I like the idea of dancing to intense choreography while singing simultaneously but I also don’t want to be stuck in Korea and performing in Korean music shows for the rest of my career; I also don’t want to sit, act perfectly and cute in front of the cams, and not fully be able to express my thoughts out, I’m not allowed to express intense emotions like anger, sadness, stubborness, etc., not even allowed to express my gender since I’m queer. I wanna be in the West, but the K-pop training system is deeply ingrained within me

That’s why when global girl groups like Katseye, Girlset, and Saint Satine came out, I feel like that’s the exact thing I wanna go for; everything seems to be aligned with my interests, and you get to represent your own country globally. At least you’ll be talking in English for the most part, and I wouldn’t have to worry about the discrimination for not being Korean myself. I also grew up listening to Western songs, so when Girlset re-debuted with their “Little Miss”, I was like, they found my taste in music within the idol industry.

If I were given a choice, I’d love to be in a global girl group more than being in a K-pop group tho still love my K-pop biases from 2018.
