5th gen has been shaping up to be so great this past year, at least personally i’ve been eating a whole lot idk. 82major just cameback again with Sign and i always hold my breath for groups that have dropped banger after banger consistently cuz it’s like what if this next one doesn’t hit you know ? but i should’ve known better than to doubt lol. it’s soo good and it’s so.. different from what a lot of boy groups are putting out these days. i’d say generally bgs are leaning more into softer images which i’m loving, and technically they’ve done the same cuz it’s quite different from their regular drops. but it’s softer in such a suave way.
my ults are monsta x and i love a group with a really stand-out manly concept,, so i’ve been into the “beast idols” across generations (it’s been shinhwa, 2pm, monsta x, and ateez), and i notice when these geoups do a less agressive concept it’s more suave and chic, still really masculine in a way. and Sign just makes me think 82major fits right in with the lineup.
disclaimer before i get downvoted to sht again: i know it’s too early to say anything conclusive about 5th gen. we just got here, yada yada. still, i’ve been pretty tuned in to so many of the cbs cuz somehow they’ve got my attention way more than any new groups from the past generation did. so i’m really all-eyes and all-ears to seeing how it unfolds
