Out of 13,221 total seats across the North American tour, they’ve only sold 5,148 tickets, which puts them at a 39.06% sales rate. Their first concert is happening in just a few days from now.
If they’re struggling to fill these venues in major cities across the US and Canada, they’ve got to be losing money on this tour… right? The fact that these venues are relatively small to begin with, combined with the poor ticket sales and the fact that this is their first tour with ALL 24 members participating.. all of these things make it hard for me to see how they’re going to turn a profit. I’ve checked the ticketing sites and the prices are what I’d consider average by today’s standards. They’re definitely not cheap, but they’re not outrageously expensive either. I think the cheapest ticket I found was still over $90, including fees.
But yeah, touring with 24 members has to be incredibly expensive logistically, and given the current sales figures, I just feel like they’re going to have a hard time breaking even let alone turning a profit.
