Im making a korean D&D setting – what should I add?

Hello I started a to make a new D&D setting Loosely inspired by Korea during the Three Kingdoms era.

Timeline so far

Old Empire – this was a time rolled by a single emperor but due to him not choosing a successor and having many heirs, the empire fell apart heirs Warlords and other factions took up different territories.

Beok Dynasties – during this time many difference territories have been made, destroyed, split, or combined.

Current times – three major political factions are trying to become the main government.

So to be up to the players on which side would win, if a new faction could win or alliances.

So with all that contact out of the way I want to know what kind of of tropes or themes may it be historical, modern, or fictional should I add into my setting?

and what is the most respectful way to implement them?

On top of that what kind of troops should I avoid and why?

Also I already started making religion/faith aspect for this world here.
