What are the cons of putting Western global girl groups through the K-pop system?

What are some parts of the K-pop system that don’t translate well to Western members?

Groups like KATSEYE and GIRLSET/VCHA are Western/global girl groups created using the K-pop training and management system. I think the performance and training side clearly has benefits, but I’m curious about the cultural differences.

Things that are normal or accepted within the K-pop industry might clash with what Western members expect when it comes to management, creative freedom, work culture and their personal lives.

VCHA especially made me think about this considering everything that happened with the original lineup.

What do you think are the biggest downsides of using the K-pop system for a group made up primarily of Western members?
