The first time I made bibimbap, I followed a recipe and arranged the components nicely over a bowl of rice like a restaurant photo. At the time I had no idea that the fascinating meal I saw in Kdrama where people mix a bunch of stuff energetically in a huge metal basin was also bibimbap (yangpun).
