Comfort foods with produce from an American grocery store?

I need some help with meal ideas for an older Korean-American couple. What Korean comfort foods can I make with meat/produce from a typical American grocery store? Or what American dishes can I make that are likely to appeal to Korean palates?

I only have miyeokguk and juk on my list so far…

Additional info:

  • My pantry is decently stocked with Korean and other East Asian staples.
  • I do not have access to an Asian grocery store (including online delivery like Wee) for fresh meat/produce. No napa cabbage, Korean radish, bean sprouts, etc.
  • Dishes need to be freezer friendly.
