I was scrolling through my ig and saw a reel of YUQI and SHUHUA appearing on MLB Korea channel.
The OP asked, “to the young kids who want to become singers, if you were to give advice, what would you want to tell them?”
Both of their answers were as follows___
SH : check your contracts carefully. the contract!!
YQ : everyone, when you sign a contract, you have to look closely at the terms
SH : contracts are important
YQ : don’t rush just because you want to debut
SH : your happiness is the contract
YQ : especially foreigners
SH : bring a lawyer!!
YQ : and get it in your native language.
And I know IDLE are known for their so-called company-related remarks that they give out every now and then, in a funny way, of course. But still,
This raised some questions in my mind.
Do these small kids and their parents look through the contracts clearly?
Do they even involve a lawyer?
or Do they just run through it at home and just sign it to become a trainee?
I can somewhat guess for wealthier idols who were already born with a silver spoon. But what about the idols who couldn’t afford a lawyer, the ones who don’t care much about the contracts coz they just want to debut and be an idol?
What ya’ll think?
