So many fans are so used to getting into fanwars and debates all the time they genuinely can’t fathom kpop fans that aren’t like this

do you know what I mean? this has happened to me multiple times the past few weeks. i’ll ask a really normal question like why a certain artist won a bunch of awards when I genuinely didn’t hear about their releases, and suddenly it’s “sorry your faves didn’t win.” sorry… what faves? where did you even get that from

or i’ll explain why a group having a lot of spotify monthly listeners might be because of a specific reason and instantly it’s “get out of here you army.” like ok? are we gonna actually talk about what i said or are we just assigning me a fandom and calling it a day

some fans are so deep into fanwars that they literally cannot comprehend kpop fans who aren’t like that. everything has to be an attack, everything has to be shady, and apparently asking a question means you’re bitter and plotting against someone’s faves

I post on this subreddit way too much (i have too many kpop opinions and zero kpop friends irl, sorry lol) and I’ve been accused of being both an army with an agenda, but also a BTS anti. (I dared to say I didn’t understand the hype for a certain release lol, armys were out to get me that day lol)
