‘BTS’s V or Jinu?’ hanbok-inspired look steals the spotlight on Vogue’s global stage

It was one of those rare red-carpet moments when tradition met modern cool — and owned it.

At Vogue World: Hollywood 2025, BTS’s V arrived not just as a global pop icon but as a style story in motion. His look — an elegant reimagining of Korea’s hanbok — turned the Los Angeles night into something quietly unforgettable.

Wearing a wide-brimmed fedora that echoed the classic gat and a flowing gray overcoat tailored with royal restraint, V carried the grace of tradition with the ease of a movie star. Around his waist, a crimson norigae belt glimmered with jade and Korean motifs — a subtle nod to Joseon-era regality. The outfit, designed by J.Bag Couture, blended centuries of heritage into a single, striking silhouette.

The look quickly caught global attention. Megi Kang, director of Netflix’s hit animation KPop Demon Hunters, shared V’s photo on social media with the caption: “BTS V = Saja Boys’ Jinu.” Fans around the world echoed the sentiment, calling him “real-life Jinu” — the animated hero brought to life in couture.

Vogue also took note. In its official photo gallery, “The Best Dressed Stars From Vogue World 2025: Hollywood,” the magazine featured V among more than 100 attending celebrities, including Dakota Johnson, Halle Bailey, and Miley Cyrus — spotlighting his look as one of the evening’s standouts.

For V, it was more than a fashion appearance — it was a statement of identity.
By blending Korean heritage with contemporary couture, he reminded the world that tradition can be timeless, and K-culture can stand proudly on any global stage.
