Best sauce recipe for tteok kochi?

I’m making tteok kochi from scratch but it always has this rice flour taste to it (not like store bought tteokbokki taste) so I was wondering if I could cover it with the sauce.

I’m thinking the usual suspects:

  • gochujang
  • soy sauce
  • sugar
  • honey
  • rice vinegar

could work. But if anyone has any good recipes for it, I’d appreciate it if u share some.
