On TikTok there was a woman asking San from Ateez if his type was chocolate or vanilla, referring to if he preferred black or white women. When will the fetishizing comments come to an end… It’s super uncomfortable and could’ve gotten San in trouble no matter what he chose. If he chose chocolate, he’d be seen as fetishizing black women and if he chose vanilla, he’d be labeled as racist. This is the Mingi and black women thing all over again and it’s so tiring and overplayed. Not to mention the same woman who asked san that also made a sign that hongjoon is the only one who makes “it” purr🤦🏾♀️. Just because they’re grown men and express that in their music doesn’t give you the right to cross boundaries. At the end of the day send off, fancalls, and concerts are their job so please stop treating it as if you’re on a date or talking to a close friend because those idols are neither your friends nor man. Next time Ateez comes back to the U.S. please act as if you have some sense😭🙏🏾.
