Appreciation for Wendy’s covers in Bangpan Music Anywhere You Go

Bangpan Music Anywhere You Go ended last July 19 after 8 episodes and I am still hungover. We were blessed with a lot of amazing song covers by Wendy. For those unfamiliar, Bangpan Music is a music show where Wendy, Lee Chan Won (trot singer), Danny Goo (violinist) and Hanhae (rap artist) plus various special guests travel around Korea and perform / busk at different public locales. For the benefit of those who missed the show, I would like to post what I think are Wendy’s must-watch performances from this show.

Wendy is at her best when singing heart-wrenching or comforting ballads so this is where we begin. Grab a tissue, guys, coz here are 5 of my favorite Wendy ballad covers from Bangpan Music.

Something Like That (original by Hwayobi)

Resignation (original by by Lee Young-Hyun)

Never Ending Story (original by Boohwal)

Uphill Road (original by Yung Jong Shin, Jung in)

When Time Passes By (original by Choi Ho Seob)

Aside from ballads, we also got to see Wendy covering other genres of songs. Here are some highlights …

Storm (original by Rumors)

My Friend (original by Insooni) with Hanhae

Eve’s Warning (original by Park Mikyung)

Gimme Gimme (original by Jeong Dong Won)

After This Night (original by Lim Jae Bum)

8282 (original by Davichi) with Sohyang

Lonely Love with original artist Kim Hyun Jung

Whew. That’s a lot of amazing covers. I hope you guys enjoyed these as much as Wendy had fun singing them. May these songs tide you over until Wendy’s comeback in September.
