I love kkaenip ssam with perilla fresh from the garden in the summer. I bought what I thought were basic perilla starts from H-Mart and they took off right away. I was watering them today and a new fat leaf flipped over. I’ve got this gorgeous purple variant! These are going to be the prettiest ssam ever, I’m curious to see how dark the plants will become as they mature.
