As a fan since 2017, I’ve seen Yixing’s journey, and I knew he was destined for greatness but I’m still absolutely blown away by the scale of his recent show! This wasn’t just a concert; it was an unforgettable, history-making spectacle, and it’s all thanks to his dedication.
The sheer ambition of this project is insane! He brought in Zhang Yimou, the legendary director of the Beijing 2008 and 2022 Olympics Opening Ceremonies, to help craft the vision. Knowing that level of expertise was involved just shows how serious Yixing is about his art.
They reportedly invested a mind-boggling $28 million into the production. You could feel that effort in every moment! The sets were massive, built for two nights in the Bird’s Nest stadium for an audience of 80,000 seats!
Honestly, a lot of singers can fill an arena that size, but what truly makes this special is Yixing’s relentless hard work and respect for his fans and the amount of effort and money he’s willing to pour into the production ,He didn’t just walk out and sing; he literally remixed every single song for the show! That dedication to reimagining his music and giving us a completely unique, new experience is what sets him apart and why I’m such a proud fan.
And can we talk about the fact that this incredible event happened on his birthday? Instead of making a wish for himself, he turned it around and gave us the most beautiful, selfless moment:
“its my birthday today. i feel stronger and braver than before. so instead of wishing for myself, i will make a wish for you. may all of your dreams come true. and me? i will STAY as your coolest little sheep.”
