On R U Next, Wonhee’s singing was decent but her dancing and stage presence were weak. She looked scared every time she performed. Jiwoo, Chanelle, Minju, and Jeongeun were the best vocalists on the show. Iroha, Jeemin, Jihyun, and Hyewon were the best dancers. Minju was already there for the visuals and Jeemin is also really pretty, so I honestly don’t understand why Wonhee was chosen over some of these girls.
I’m not gonna pretend I’m an expert on Japanese culture or everyday social norms but Wonhee getting into trouble in Japan was still embarrassing 😭. A clip of Wonhee shopping at don quijote went viral in Japan. Wonhee was shown putting things into her cart, leaving her cart in the middle of the aisle multiple times, running around, and even drifting the cart.
I don’t think the editors helped at all. They added captions like “Wonhee leaving her cart 626 times” and “Wonhee running around 392 times,” which obviously made people notice it even more.
She should’ve been more mindful in a public place. Don’t leave your cart in the middle of an aisle, don’t run around with it and don’t treat stuff carelessly. The stuff isn’t yours until you’ve actually paid for it. Running around with a cart can cause accidents or inconvenience other customers.
And then there’s the whole controversy that happened recently 💀. Wonhee is not talented enough to debut atp. She’s not a good vocalist, her dancing is weak and her stage presence isn’t good either. She is also problematic. Her visuals do fit kbs to some extent but definitely not 90% or more. Her visuals are so overrated. Jeemin fits kbs way more and she’s more talented too.
ILLIT always lip-syncs during their Press Start concerts, and the tickets are expensive too. Hybe and belift are so greedy for money. Gllitz are one of the most toxic fandoms in kpop and the most toxic 5th gen fandom. They are also way too lazy when it comes to voting. I’m glad Wonhee didn’t win the Female Solo Popularity Award at the KWDA.
Baemon, H2H, Meovv, Rescene, izna, Fifty Fifty, Unis, Kiiras and a bunch of other 5th gen ggs are better than ILLIT vocally. The members in those groups are much prettier. Minju is the only pretty member of ILLIT.
Hybe really got karma for calling other idols ugly lmao. Tuide’s concept is extremely generic and the members are not attractive. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Tuide members can’t sing either, considering they are under hybe.
Wonhee shouldn’t have debuted in ILLIT. There were so many contestants on r u next who were stronger vocally, better dancers, had better stage presence, or were just more well rounded overall. Chanelle, Jiwoo, Jeongeun, Jeemin, Jihyun and Hyewon would’ve been much better choices.
