I posted a question on this sub a few days before saying which Kpop acts will be next to surpass 1mn attendance in tour and I was expecting some 4th gen name but most of the people were saying 5th gen groups. There was an especially lack of 4th gen girl groups. I looked up some numbers for 4th gen groups and yeah most of them are below 500K.
I get that many of the are in their 4-5th years so far but touring has become very common compared to the previous decade.
Aespa : I think one of the biggest in 4th gen touring right now, They will start their 4th world tour in August. They have a sizable fandom, especially in Japan. So far their biggest tour was their 2nd tour Synk Parallel Line which came with attendance of around 440K. And the biggest venue so far they have performed is 2 shows Tokyo Dome with 47,000 fans each day.
Ive: This should be considered the second biggest touring act because of Asian fandom especially Japan.
Their first world tour Show What I Have had the attendance of near 440K, where they basically covered all major markets including LATAM. They are currently on their 2nd world tour Show What I Am . Their biggest venue is also Tokyo Dome, where they hold one show in this tour with 48,000 fans.
Lesserafim: This one seems to have the biggest NA Fandom as they have the best numbers in the US compared to others. With their first world tour Easy HoT Crazy almost gathering 350K fans. They are also on their 2nd world tour now. Their biggest venue is also the Tokyo dome where they held 2 shows with 40,000 fans each day. Their Pureflow tour is under way.
ITZY: It’s hard to find the numbers for ITZY tours but I think Born to be tour was clearly their biggest so for with whatever reported numbers are it seems it was close to 250K. I don’t know why their tour numbers are not bigger as they seem to be a performance based group with crazy Choreographies. Their biggest show surprisingly I think is in Chile Movie Star Arena where they had 13,000 fans. They are also on their 3rd World Tour called Tunnel Vision.
Idle : They are the one with Biggest Chinese and Taiwanese fandom because having members. Their biggest tour seems like an idol tour of 2024 with attendance of 180K-200K. But they seems to be breathing their that record on their current tour of Synchronisation.
The biggest venue they performed is Taipei Dome with around 36,000 fans, but I think this will change as they are performing in Kai Tak Stadium Hongkong which expected to have 40,000-45,000 attendance.
The wild card is New Jeans as only reference we have for them is their 2 days Tokyo Dome fan meeting which was incredibly successful. They would have been number one in this list
