Why does K-pop fans think that the gap between Blackpink and other groups are small?

Disclaimer: Please be civil in the comment sections and do not sent hate towards Blackpink or any other K-pop act mentioned.

In the K-pop community it is a well-known fact that the gap between BTS and Blackpink is very large and the metrics of both groups cannot be compared to one other. However, many fans had argued that the gap between Blackpink and other K-pop groups is very small due to the groups lack of dominance in award shows, not being the top girl group in Korea nor Japan (second biggest music market), small discography, and more. However, I really don’t believe this as I think K-pop fans underestimate the gap due to Blackpink releasing less music than their peers in K-pop. There are a lot of achievements that Blackpink has that K-pop groups (not BTS) had never broken and remains untouched despite multiple releases from other K-pop groups. Blackpink is the only K-pop girl group to sell out a stadium in Korea, the only girl group to have three songs in Spotify’s Billions club, the most subscribed music act on YouTube, the only K-pop girl group to reach a three million seller status, the only Korean/Asian act to headline Coachella, the female group act with the most number #1 singles on the Billboard Global 200/Global Excl. US chart, the girl group with the most number #1 hits on the Spotify Global chart, the most followed female group, on Spotify, the only K-pop female act to be featured on Guiness’ ICONS List, the only K-pop female act to appear on the front cover of Billboard/Rollingstone/Time Magazine/Elle US, the only K-pop girl group to have an album chart in the US and the UK at the same time, and more. Despite all of these accolades, K-pop fans still claim that the gap between them and other K-pop groups are small. Why?
