This geniunely baffles me,No wonder kpopies aren’t taken seriously or respected when more than half the fandoms r just gatekeeping on who r all r stans
Personally I love listening to BTS , Blackpink and twice Much more than bigbang,snsd and 2ne1 I know their contributions and respect them immensely but i am not such a big fan of theirs or connect with their music I am 3rd gen stan and think of it as a the golden age simply because I was there to witness the amazing records
But wait till offended stans arrive on my Posts acting like i murdered their grandma Saying things like OO U hate 2nd gen groups How dare u They literally built k-pop for ur faves Without them they wouldn’t be here U aren’t an actual stan This is just a preview
Firstly Just cus someone doesn’t know ur faves doesn’t diminish the fact they r legendary TVXQ ,bigbang and snsd achievements won’t fade away.it literally doesn’t affect them
Secondly expecting everyone to know 50 plus groups when most peaked like 10-15 years ago
Like for reals there is a reason why most kids don’t vibe with their parent’s taste Music keeps evolving with current trends There is nothing wrong with liking newer artists and not wanting to discover the older ones.this isn’t a history lesson.when u have group of artists u love and support just do that.music is just entertainment
Same goes for 4-5 gen fans
Like God forbid a new k-pop stan stating their preferences or likes Or not knowing a 2nd or 3rd gen group
They would be sentenced to” not a actual k-pop fan jail’ I think everyone should realise that not everyone needs to acknowledge ur faves as GODs so they can stan their groups .
I respect all groups and their hard work but those comments on someone tier list of groups was hilarious Guys it is not that deep
