As an International Fan of Bae Suzy from India, I recently started exploring Bae Suzy’s career, after watching her in startup and I am officially blown away. After watching her hit TV shows,movies , listening to her songs , her interviews and praises she recieved and researching her life, it’s clear she isn’t just a visual icon—she is a genuinely talented and humble human being.

Here is why I believe Suzy remains the top celebrity in Korea today:
1. A True All-Rounder (Singing, Acting, & Taekwondo)
Low life no good haters try to call her “overrated,” but the facts prove otherwise. Suzy is a rare “quadruple threat”:
- Acting: She has led multiple successful K-Dramas and films with diverse roles from action shows like Vagabond, Gu Family book to Psychological thriller like Anna she has proved she is versatille actress who plays diverse roles
- Singing & Dancing: Her roots in K-Pop and her solo music show her incredible range. Her voice is beautiful which takes us to another dimension
- Martial Arts: Did you know she is a Taekwondo Black Belt? Calling her overrated makes no sense when she excels in every field she enters.
- Painting: She has also imporved her painting recently what initally started as hobby she has msatered it and now she can draw her fellow stars images like recently shown.
- Ballet: She has been doing Ballet, attending Ballet classes which resulted in huge enrollment as mentioned by her Ballet teacher which proves why she is one of the fittest actress.
2. Her Kindness and Reputation in the Industry
Suzy is known for her “Innocent” and humble personality. A great recent example is her support for her fellow star Song Hye-kyo. Suzy sent a food truck and support to the set of Song Hye-kyo’s latest project, showing her class and generosity. Fellow artists have praised her for remaining humble from day one despite her massive fame.
During a 2025 desert shoot for the drama Genie, Make a Wish, she reportedly gave up her personal trailer to her young co-star, Kim Yoon-seul, so the child could rest comfortably.
Various costars from Kim Yoobin to Lee Sung-gi , Park Bogum have praised her as down to earth despite her star fame.
3. Most Popular Celebrity Among the MZ Generation
In 2025, Suzy was voted the most popular celebrity among Korea’s MZ Generation (Millennials and Gen Z), beating out other massive stars like IU and Park Bo-gum. This proves that her influence isn’t just based on nostalgia; she is still the leading trendsetter in Korea right now.

4. Addressing her Critics
I’ve seen people call her “boring,” but in my opinion,it’s people who are jealous of her achievement and can’t digest the fact she is most interesting idol, that’s just a lack of appreciation for someone who stays out of trouble and focuses on her craft. She is a positive inspiration who uses her platform for good.
People who talk negative about her just don’t have any reason to hate. Just pure jealousy.
