Why are these songs not charting though…

June started off with a bang with several groups releasing music at the same time. I wanna focus on the more notable ones like tripleS, Meovv, and Treasure. I’ve seen so many of the groups’ stans saying that it’s their best releases ever, well I guess it was a lil bit more of a mixed review with DDI RO RI. But I was watching a livestream of a very famous duo of Kpop reactors who gave an opinion that Meovv have the best discography and the only reason they aren’t as big as they can be is solely because of a hate train organized by other fandoms of 5th gen groups because they feel threatened by them. Not sure if I agree there but I’m curious what you think about it.

Anyway, back to the full picture. The common theme between these 3 comebacks is that they are continuing to decline on the charts despite their fans’ support. On Melon, tripleS started day 1 at no.458, dropped to #564 on day 2, and #743 on day 3. Meovv started off at #135, dropped to #172 on day 2, and dropped further down to #184 on day 3. For Treasure, there’s no number to be shared because they’ve never even made inside the top 1000 and the listeners are continuing to drop rapidly. For a boy group capable of selling over a million albums during a comeback, this is a real head-scratcher for me.

Is it because they’re not riding the current trend of edm club music?

edit: the reactors were Kess and Han
