Hey everyone👋, it’s been a while and I’m back with another edition of this post!
TXT, BOYNEXTDOOR, and BTS are my ults, but I’m not really active in BTS fandom spaces, so I’ll just be talking about TXT and BND.
For reference:
MOA = TXT fandom
Onedoor = BND fandom
For MOAs, it has been pretty chill so far. TXT went on a one-month break, and it has slowly come to an end. They will be having their first official schedule after the break on 7th of February
The rest period was so nice, and it was fun to see the boys giving us updates on spending time with their families, friends, traveling, and just being happy. Most of us thought it would be radio silence throughout the break, but they were literally coming on Weverse everyday to chat with MOAs. Dare I say they were even more active than when they weren’t on a break?
Most of them tried new things for the first time and did things they had been wanting to do. Beomgyu finally went on a family trip, Yeonjun went on a trip with his mom and introduced us to his cousin’s dog named Peanut, whom he was so obsessed with and would post pretty pictures of her all the time. Hueningkai finally went skiing, and they all just seemed to have a really great vacation.
MOAs have just been enjoying the updates and we’re looking forward to the resumption of their activities as a 5-member group again.
For Onedoors, it’s been pretty good as well. BND’s latest single “If I say i love you” was a huge success, and it did so well both domestically and internationally. They landed their first top 10 entry on Melon daily charts recently, and the song is still rising on the platform. It also did well on Spotiy too, becoming their fastest song to reach 10 million streams and it gave them an entry on Billbkard Exc US, Billbord Global Charts and Apple Music Global.
BND also finally got their first win on MCountdown with Jaehyun as the MC, and it was such an emotional and heartwarming moment. The members were not there to receive the award, but Jaehyun, as the MC, received it on their behalf. He also delivered a wonderful encore stage all by himself before bursting into tears right after. It was cute.
We also got a new season of FUNEXTDOOR, BND’s variety show, and we have been keeping ourselves occupied with that. Currently, BND is on the Japanese leg of the tour.
Also, the fandom growth has been so surreal and staggering to see. Just recently, the last member weverse live we had gained over 900k real time views. 900k!😭 Like where did all these people come from??? My BND has come so far and it genuinely makes me so happy to see how much their fandom has grown🥹
