What exactly is inherently ‘korean’ about kpop??

i know it’s gonna sound haterish but besides the language, what exactly is authentically korean about kpop?? as far as i’m concerned, there’s absolutely nothing that isn’t somewhat magpied from other cultures such as the west, but moreso black influence. I can say i’ve heard chinese or japanese music without influence, but im not sure if i can say the same for korea. Gonna go search some up now. But as of for kpop, is there a historical implication for all this? someone school me, i don’t want to hate as i think the industry on surface level is a pretty cool concept.
