What do blinks think of Blackpink’s current career trajectory?

Open questions to blinks!!

for context Blackpink got me into K-Pop in early 2019 and I had a huge blink phase…For a couple of months. I got to know them, had fun, but then as I dived deeper into K-pop and music in general I just thought their music was nothing special and would tune in every comeback (every 2-3 years lmao). I was genuinely confused as to how they retain such a massive fanbase with so very little content. I grew bored easily, and could tell none of the girls wanted to do this

Well, that’s only proven more true as of late, seeing as the content only ever got worse and the wait got longer and longer every time. And now with this new release that I already forgot the name of, it’s only clearer to me that none of the girls are interested in Blackpink. As a former blink I was thinking they’d run their course and it would be merciful of YG to just let them go at this point

I have also seen diehard blinks dissapointed and stating what I’ve been thinking : The girls thrive (broadest, most liberal sense of the word) best solo.

My questions :

How do you feel about the release?

And if you defend it – is it a stockholm syndrome or nostalgic bias situation or do you genuinely listen to it?

How do you feel about the fact that likely none of the girls were in the same room together to film the video? and that it was clearly low effort and AI?

are you dissapointed w the turn their discography has taken?

If you’re still a diehard blink, why?

do you want them to disband?

do you think it is the right move for them to disband?
