TXT released an OST “When the day comes” on May 11th at 6pm KST (btw the song is great 😍) and they are doing exceptionally well on K-Charts for an OST 😅 the song is part of one of the most popular K-Dramas right now, Resident Playbook, the spin-off of the series Hospital Playlist, which shows the life and friendship of university hospital professors and doctors. It was played in the May 10th episode for the first time and the lore of it, is that one of the main characters, Um Jaeil, (who is now a doctor), was once an idol in 2011. Yeonjun and Soobin of TXT were also part of his group, Hi-Boyz, and they had one hit song, which was “When the day comes”. They disbanded 2 years after their debut 😭
After a snippet of the song was played during the episode, words like “”When the day comes”, “TXT” and “Resident Playbook” were trending for hours on every korean chart.
The song has had some great reactions from the Korean public. They are all praising the song and it even entered Melon Top 100 at #79 at 00 am KST on May 12th and it is right now charting at #50 at 8am KST!! It has also reached new peaks on Genie (#21), Bugs (#17) and Flo (#92).
On top of that, the promo for the song, has been pretty interesting for an OST 😅 beside a MV, we have gotten Dance Challenges from the actors and TXT, official Behind the Scenes pictures and we are getting a Performance Video later in the day 😭🤍
I am excited to see how much more attention the song will get 😍
