before anything, i just want to say this clearly so it doesn’t get misunderstood
i know as a fan i’m not entitled to anything and this isn’t me demanding or expecting anything from the members i’m not trying to be parasocial i’m not asking for Heeseung to come back to ENHYPEN and i’m not hating on NCT or SM Entertainment or nctzens i’m also not trying to start fanwars theorise anything or compare the idols themselves i’m just sharing how it felt from a fan perspective
i’ll be honest i am jealous i am sad and i am quite unhappy
when looking at Mark Lee’s departure there was prior notice a final stage with the members and his statement showed mutual support which gave fans some sense of closure (the boys even publicly commented under his post !!)
with Heeseung, things happened suddenly without warning and from a fan perspective it felt like everything moved on almost immediately
after six years of him being in the group it is noticeable that the members no longer publicly acknowledge him or speak about him it is almost as if he was never there we can believe they support him privately but from what is shown publicly it feels sudden and quiet
i understand these are different companies and the idols have different lengths of time as performers and this post is not about comparing the idols or their companies it is about how the handling of these situations comes across
i am not assuming anything beyond what has been shown and i am not turning this into negativity or fan comparisons i am just sharing my perspective as a fan I hope this doesn’t get banned 🙁
