SEVENTEEN brings ‘The City’ back to LA, mapping the city in CARAT colors

K-pop powerhouse SEVENTEEN is set to light up Los Angeles this fall as the group’s immersive fan experience, “SEVENTEEN THE CITY LA,” makes its return after a year.

According to Pledis Entertainment and HYBE, the citywide celebration will take place Oct. 11–19, in tandem with the group’s “SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] IN U.S.” concerts at BMO Stadium on Oct. 16–17.

Leading up to and following the shows, fans can enjoy a wide range of SEVENTEEN-themed programs, including landmark collaborations, pop-up stores, and culinary collaborations.

This year’s edition has expanded significantly through a partnership with Airbnb. Experiences first introduced in Seoul during SEVENTEEN’s Incheon concerts—such as K-pop dance classes and K-beauty styling sessions—will now debut in LA. On Oct. 15, a Koreatown club will host a DJ party featuring SEVENTEEN’s music, setting the stage for a lively pre-show celebration.

Exclusive to LA, the Airbnb Originals lineup will include studio recording sessions, DJ remix workshops, pottery painting, cake decorating, and custom shirt design—all reimagined through SEVENTEEN’s creative lens. Restaurants near BMO Stadium will also transform into gathering spots for CARATs (SEVENTEEN’s fandom), offering themed food and music for fans to enjoy together.

SEVENTEEN will leave its mark on some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. From Oct. 15–17, the Santa Monica Pier Ferris wheel will be illuminated with SEVENTEEN and CARAT logos. On Oct. 14, Universal Studios Hollywood will host a SEVENTEEN sing-along party, while several buildings across the city will glow in the group’s signature rose quartz and serenity hues.

Following last year’s runaway success, SEVENTEEN’s pop-up stores are back on a larger scale. The centerpiece, “SEVENTEEN ON COMPLEX,” will open in West LA in collaboration with Complex, featuring exclusive merchandise available only during “THE CITY LA.” Another official pop-up in Koreatown will sell group merchandise, themed collectibles, and include photo zones for fans.

Food-and-beverage partnerships will further spread SEVENTEEN fever across the city. Local favorites such as Old Ferry Donut, Ahgassi Gopchang, It’s Boba Time, Baekjeong, Wanderlust Creamery, and Melo Melo will introduce special menus and commemorative items as part of the celebration.

“Building on SEVENTEEN’s powerful global influence, ‘THE CITY’ in the U.S. returns with an even richer lineup this year,” Pledis Entertainment said in a statement. “We hope fans visiting LA will connect not only with SEVENTEEN but also with the local community through this unique celebration.”

Before arriving in LA, SEVENTEEN will launch the U.S. leg of their world tour at the Tacoma Dome in Washington on Oct. 11. The tour will then head to Austin’s Moody Center (Oct. 21–22), Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida (Oct. 26–27), and Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. (Oct. 29–30).
