Seeking rice cooker advice

I was trying to decide where to post this and landed on this sub, hopefully it makes the most sense here.

Basically, my question is this: I’m looking to finally get a zojirushi rice cooker, but I can’t figure out how to tell if I should get the 3-cup or 5-cup. It’s just me and my wife, and currently, we would easily use the 3-cup with what I cook regularly. But for people who have gone from no rice cooker to having one: does your consumption go up enough that you’d recommend getting the larger one?

I can’t tell if just by virtue of it being there, I’ll be eating more and using more leftovers, or if I’ll just end up with way more than I will ever need. Any advice from seasoned rice eating professionals would be welcome.
