Please help me find the recipe for this amazing beoseot deopbab I had on a Korean Air flight!

I took a Korean Air prestige class flight recently and was served a beoseot deopbab (mushrooms on rice) on the flight. It was so delicious that I’m now obsessed with trying to reverse engineer the dish so I can recreate it at home.

This sub doesn’t allow photos, but the ingredients are:

  • king oyster mushroom
  • shimeji mushroom
  • pearl onion? (tiny translucent bits that look like onions)
  • gingko nuts
  • Korean chives
  • pearl rice

But I can’t figure out what’s the sauce…? It’s a soy-based sauce that’s slightly sweet but deeply umami. Does anyone know (if it’s for this exact Korean Air dish, even better). Please help a sis out, I salivate just thinking about it lol. Thanks in advance!
