I know they all worked really hard but it’s crazy how hard RM worked. Jungkook is crazy talented and an all rounder which RM is not but RM literally created their sound by writing the music which is arguably the most important thing for a band to become famous. It kind of annoys me when people say as a leader he hasn’t done much (someone said that Jungkook should’ve been the leader bc he’s best at things like dance and signing which are crucial to a boyband, but saying that was actually crazy to me) bc like yes ik dances better than nj and sings better and while rm raps better jk can probs rap better than rm can sing, but like … bro rm wrote the songs. He wrote the raps. He built that group, that’s unarguably HIS group. ‘BTS, the group led by Kim Namjoon’ And not only that he’s kinda the reason they can more comfortably participate in international events. Like I know English is hard to learn and I don’t at all judge the members for not learning it but for example at the Grammys, whenever a celeb came up to them, it’s immediately RMs responsibility to say something, to sound cool, to try to sound vaguely western (bc he def does try to incorporate western phrases and it’s very intentional imo). Like yes that could’ve been achieved w a translator but it’s not as effective at all. And also he’s an incredible rapper and he’s a good dancer like all of them are incredible dancers. Even the person who places last at the Olympics is a better athlete than 99% of the population. Don’t take that quote literally. I do feel like he’s not as close to the members this time around idk why and it’s kinda sad cuz I do wish ideally all seven members were equally as close to each other buttt that’s not reality. But they all love each other and are a family I’m sure etc etc. also I loveee Jungkook like he’s legit my bias wrecker and I def think he’s like probs the most talented member vocally and hes also one of the reason the group has sm appeal. But I think ppl try to place jk as the harry styles/ Zayn Malik of the band. But the thing about BTS… is that there’s no harry styles. As a huge one direction fan, it’s very clear that one direction was never ‘family’ in that way and Harry was bein shady af and secretly signing solo contracts (ok sorry different post). But w BTS it’s like I don’t think nj is jealous of jk in the way Louis was jealous of Harry. And Louis has every right to be jealous of Harry. I’m glad Louis admitted that and I would’ve felt the same way too. But idk how ppl can say rm is jealous of jk when Louis said that 1D often feels awkward attending each others shows or stuff etc but rm was once like ‘that’s our kid! That boy is our kid ‘ when jk was performing solo and suga said ‘thank god i can finally relax’ when jks solo went #1. Not thankgod you can finally relax but * I * can finally relax. Louis or Niall would NEVER be brazen or shameless enough to say * I * can finally relax when Harry went platinum. If they said smt like that , it’s embarrasing (like how everyone called Liam embarrasing when he posted about Harry’s Grammy.) but when bts does it it doesn’t come across shameless, or brazen. Humans can feel that energy. It genuinely comes off as like ‘dude I’m really fucking relieved my idiot brother got a hit cuz I was so fuckign stressed for this dude I’ve grown up with and lowkey taken care of and babied.’ And when rm posts about jks achievements it doesn’t feel at all like he’s trying to drive up his engagement bc of how the energy feels when he says stuff like ‘THATS OUR KIDDD THAT BOY IS IUR KIDD.’ Like u can tell he felt that responsibility over jk and has earned the right to be proud of jk and of himself for jks success. It’s earned. You can feel that. Like I wouldn’t blame them if they were jealous of JKs solo success but the way the older members treat him and treat his success is very much giving ‘that’s my sibling. How can I be jealous of my sibling? I’m stressed out about my siblings success more than my sibling is.’ but anyway I think he deserves to be very much appreciated for all these things.
