Male teenage/pre-teen fans should be able to express their feelings about their female idol crushes without fear of backlash

I was just on tiktok watching a video about how Skepta was saying that “adults” shouldnt be hugging minors and an example where a boy hugged North West was used. There was indeed some awkwardness but no creepiness. This kid looked no older than 14/15 and North is 13.

People were going crazy calling North, who looks very grown for her age, a child but this boy who definitely looked like a young teen was called an adult and berated.

The same thing happens in kpop, and far more often. Female idols who are minors go live and if and if ANY male says anything even alluding to admiration or a crush they are immediately banned, blocked, berated, or worse.

I remember being a teenager, it was probably the toughest part of my life. Imagine being called a creep around every corner for having developmentally appropriate crushes.

Boys who are minors should be able to RESPECTFULLY express their adoration or crushes towards idols who are minors just like them.
