South Korea’s LG Uplus Corp. announced on Monday that it has introduced generative AI technology to its integrated advertising platform U+AD, adding a function to analyze advertising performance.
LG Uplus conducts advertising business through its IPTV service U+tv, utilizing real-time broadcasting, VOD and mobile banners on platforms and the web.
The company receives advertising requests from around 500 brands annually.
The newly integrated generative AI automatically analyzes advertising performance data, which was previously investigated in chart or graph formats, and delivers the analysis results to advertisers in the form of a report within one minute.
LG Uplus explained that advertisers can easily check their advertising performance at a glance and set advertising strategies based on the data.
The company mentioned that it could provide analyses based on advertisers’ requirements, such as comparing advertising performance with competitors.
LG Uplus plans to introduce its proprietary AI brand “ixi” into the advertising platform to enhance these functions. Furthermore, it aims to pursue a hyper-personalization strategy by delivering customized product advertisements using ixi.
