so, let’s have a discussion about K-pop’s parasocial marketing strategy. what is your opinion on this? I personally LOVE the music, but I hate the marketing strategy. I feel like it makes some people go crazy (aka toxic stans), and people make deepfakes of them, which is NOT ok at all. what are the pros of this strategy, and what are the cons, in your opinion? (i have an idea of how it is, but I want to know the people on r/kpopthoughts opinions) please stay civil, because I do not want to delete this, but I might have to if things get out of hand.
